TRACING OF UNLOCATED FAMILY BUSINESSES

The tracing of unlocated family businesses was carried out as part of efforts to update and verify business data. The activity involved revisiting the addresses and locations of businesses based on the available business listings. Field officers coordinated with village/subdistrict authorities and local communities to obtain information regarding the existence of businesses that had not yet been located. The tracing process was conducted by taking into account local conditions and the accessibility of the locations. If a business was found to still exist and operate, field officers conducted confirmation and updated the relevant information according to the actual conditions observed in the field. Meanwhile, businesses that could not be located, were no longer operating, or had relocated were recorded as findings from the tracing activity. These findings were subsequently used as material for evaluation and follow-up actions in updating the statistical data of BPS Statistics of the Talaud Islands Regency.
